Fit with confidence

Sizes are a starting point.
Measurements tell more.

Designer labels and Indian occasion wear vary by cut. Compare the listed garment measurements with a similar item you already own before choosing dates.

01

Start with the label

Check the size, brand, and garment type on the listing. Labels such as S, M, L, or numeric sizes can vary between designers and cuts.

02

Measure a similar garment

Lay a well-fitting piece flat and measure it without stretching. Compare the same points with the listing’s chest, waist, hip, and length details.

03

Check the garment shape

Blouses, fitted gowns, sherwanis, lehengas, and relaxed silhouettes fit differently. Read the Host’s notes about stretch, lining, closures, alterations, and what is included.

04

Ask before you book

If a key measurement or fit detail is missing, use the booking conversation after your rental is confirmed to clarify arrangements with the Host.

Measure the garment flat

Record and compare garment measurements in centimetres. Keep the tape straight, avoid pulling the fabric, and mention if the piece has been altered.

Chest
Across the chest at the fullest point, using the same method for both pieces.
Waist
Across the narrowest waist area, with the garment laid naturally.
Hip
Across the fullest hip area, especially for fitted skirts and trousers.
Length
From the top of the garment to its hem or the point noted by the Host.

Fit note: This guide helps you compare garments; it is not a universal size chart or a guarantee of fit. If a listing does not show measurements, use its size label and description as your reference.
